We’ve had several questions about the lighting set-up in our “command center,” as I like to call my living room. Although there are a pair of table lamps in front of us, our primary light source is a pair of 105 watt compact flourescent light (CFL) bulbs with mean-time-between-failure (MTBF) of 4,000 hours. Amazon sells them, as well as CFLs in various other shapes and sizes. We learned to use this when we were still in the streaming and documentary making business. I bought this pair for about $30.00.
I screw them into a pair of wall sconces that I purchased at Lowes. They cost about $8.00 each.
They provide an even daylight temperature and they run extremely cool.
