The treasure containing 49 $1 coins in a stump aside the Arkansas River in Colorado, North of Salida has been found! The finder cracked the code and drove from Ft. Worth, Texas to recover the cache. More details next week on our YouTube channel, including photos and video. We’ll also give you the key to the cipher. The photo below is the last clue before finding the treasure stump. - the phrase “New Mexico” appears 6 times, 4 of which are references to the publishing process, e.g, “Starline Printing in Albuquerque, New Mexico”
- the word, “Colorado” does not appear
- the word “Montana” appears 3 times, 1 of which is a reference to “The Montana Gazette” rather than the State
- and, the word, “Wyoming” appears twice.
