Special Announcement re: Fenn Treasure Hunter, Jaime Jordan (jjdiggins)

http://www.paypal.me/jjdiggins

Our fellow Forrest Fenn treasure hunter, Jamie Jordan, and her family lost their home and their business to the raging Mendocino, California fire, now the largest in the State’s history. Jamie is most commonly known on the forums as jjdiggins.

While, eventually, insurance will help them to rebuild their lives, they are in the meantime dealing with all the other issues that comes with losing everything in what is, effectively, a moment’s notice.

A group of fellow searchers, with the help of Forrest Fenn, has established an account at which donations can be made.

They have also arranged for a raffle drawing to be held in Jamie’s name using the above account.

Here’s how it works: for a minimum contribution of $25 your name will be entered into a raffle drawing for a set of donated items, including the following:

Fenn treasure search medallion, serial number 001, donated by Fenn himself.
A copy of The Thrill of the Chase, First Edition, signed by Forrest Fenn
A copy of each of Too Far to Walk and Once Upon a While, both signed by Forrest Fenn

You can enter as many times as you wish, but each entry must be at least $25 in order to participate in the raffle. To qualify, your contribution must be made before 5pm MDT on August 31, 2018.

You can enter the drawing at www.paypal.me/jjdiggins I’ve posted the link in the description box below.

Mike Cowling, cowlazars on YouTube, is responsible for managing the online raffle.

We will provide regular updates on our scheduled programming as more information becomes available.

Please contribute what you can, I have no doubt that Jamie and her family will appreciate your kindness.

Finally, please share this video with your family, friends and social networks, so that they, too, can have a chance at the drawing while helping Jamie and her family to recover. Thank you.

How the Heck Did Forrest Fenn Find His “Special Place?”

The perfect “hidey spot.”

Shelley and I were planning a program on our YouTube Channel. It was going to be entitled, “Forrest Fenn’s Special Place.” We were outlining the program, when Shelley asked, “How did he find it?”

“Find what?”

“His special place.”

My initial response was, “I don’t know. He’s never said.” Which, to the best of my recollection, is accurate.

I searched all the available resources and although he’s said a number of things about his special place, he’s never said how he found it. At Moby Dickens Book Shop in November, 2013, he said, “And that treasure chest, I have said, is in a very special place to me.” Earlier in 2013, he told Jennifer London of HDNET Report, “Well, I don’t want to give too many more clues, but, it’s in a special place to me.

One could conclude that the treasure chest Fenn hid is in a special place to him.

“OK,” Shelley said, “But, didn’t he also say that no one would stumble over the chest?”

I checked. “Yup. In interview with KOAT TV Albuquerque’s Laura Thoren in April of 2015, he said, ‘Nobody is gonna accidentally stumble on that treasure chest.'” I looked up, and asked her, “Where are you going with this?”

“I have a question,” Shelley said. “If no one is ever going to stumble on the treasure chest, how did Fenn discover his ‘special place?'”

Think about it. Then, join our YouTube live stream on Wednesday evening at 7pm, MDT at http://agypsyskiss.live. We’ve got an all star panel to discuss it, and you can join the conversation in live chat. Honestly, we don’t have an answer.

See you there!
