John Wayne Bobbit Donates 1kg(!) .999 Silver Coin to Jamie Jourdan Raffle!

Click on the image for a more detailed, higher resolution image.

Although there have been a number of generous donations made to the Jamie Jourdan Raffle by members of the Fenn searcher community, our viewer, subscriber and friend, John Wayne Bobbit donated a 1 kilogram (2.2 pounds) .999 fine silver coin from Armenia. In his email to me offering the donation, John wrote

“Toby & Shelly I would like to donate this coin for the raffle. 2 pounds of pure silver, Armenian coin with a Noah’s Ark on it. Uncultivated. It has a dove carrying an olive branch. Representing peace and Hope. The Ark represents the Forrest Fenn community. Reaching out to our fellow searchers in need. You can add it to the raffle? That coin is special and hopefully along with the other raffle items will inspire people to chip in during this tragic situation.”

We are very grateful to John for his generous donation.

If you want to participate in the raffle, a donation of $25 will get you one entry into the raffle drawing. You can donate at http://paypal.me/jjdiggins You can get more information on the raffle at http://bit.ly/jjdiggins

bit.ly/jjdiggins: Where to get updated information on the raffle for Jamie Jourdan

I’ve established a Google Doc to keep up with all the information coming out of the Jamie Jourdan Raffle organizing team. Kristie, at THOR forum is doing a great job of keeping us all updated. The document is only as current as the last email I’ve received from her. You can find the “as-of date” in Footnote 1 of the document. Please let me know if you are aware of any changes by sending an email to agypsyskiss@gmail.com.

The document is divided into four sections:

  1. The Story
  2. The original cache of donations.
  3. An ever-expanding list of additional donations to the cache.
  4. Information on how to participate in the raffle.
  5. The process the organizing team will use to conduct the raffle.

You can get to the document by going to http://bit.ly/jjdiggins, or clicking on the image above.

Special Announcement re: Fenn Treasure Hunter, Jaime Jordan (jjdiggins)

http://www.paypal.me/jjdiggins

Our fellow Forrest Fenn treasure hunter, Jamie Jordan, and her family lost their home and their business to the raging Mendocino, California fire, now the largest in the State’s history. Jamie is most commonly known on the forums as jjdiggins.

While, eventually, insurance will help them to rebuild their lives, they are in the meantime dealing with all the other issues that comes with losing everything in what is, effectively, a moment’s notice.

A group of fellow searchers, with the help of Forrest Fenn, has established an account at which donations can be made.

They have also arranged for a raffle drawing to be held in Jamie’s name using the above account.

Here’s how it works: for a minimum contribution of $25 your name will be entered into a raffle drawing for a set of donated items, including the following:

Fenn treasure search medallion, serial number 001, donated by Fenn himself.
A copy of The Thrill of the Chase, First Edition, signed by Forrest Fenn
A copy of each of Too Far to Walk and Once Upon a While, both signed by Forrest Fenn

You can enter as many times as you wish, but each entry must be at least $25 in order to participate in the raffle. To qualify, your contribution must be made before 5pm MDT on August 31, 2018.

You can enter the drawing at www.paypal.me/jjdiggins I’ve posted the link in the description box below.

Mike Cowling, cowlazars on YouTube, is responsible for managing the online raffle.

We will provide regular updates on our scheduled programming as more information becomes available.

Please contribute what you can, I have no doubt that Jamie and her family will appreciate your kindness.

Finally, please share this video with your family, friends and social networks, so that they, too, can have a chance at the drawing while helping Jamie and her family to recover. Thank you.
